Owners of agricultural equipment urged to ensure items are secure and security measures are in place
Owners of agricultural equipment are being warned to ensure their items are stored safely and securely after an all-terrain vehicle was stolen in Lower Boddington last Friday.
Between 1.30am and 4.30am last Friday morning (July 23) offenders approached a farm off the Banbury Road in the village, using the surrounding fields to gain access.
They then entered a barn and stole a green and black John Deere Gator, which was driven away off-road across the fields.
Officers investigating the theft are appealing for witnesses and sharing crime prevention advice for owners of similar vehicles.
Owners of agricultural equipment are being urged to ensure it is stored safely and securely at all times when not in use, and to consider the use of CCTV on their premises, as well as fitting vehicle trackers.
