Annual Public Meeting for Hospitals Trust later
29/09/2021
Oxford University Hospitals Trust Board members will talk about the Trust’s performance
The Trust responsible for the Horton General Hospital is holding its Annual Public Meeting today.
Oxford University Hospitals Trust is inviting members of the public to attend to hear Board members talk about the Trust’s performance.
The meeting will include a review of the past year and the Trusts’ future plans, presented by the Chief Executive Officer, Dr Bruno Holthof. There will also be a video presentation on the Long COVID service, which has begun in the wake of the pandemic, together with an opportunity for questions from the public.
The public meeting will be the first since the Trust recently revealed plans to bid for around £350m of government funding to build a brand-new hospital on the existing Horton General Hospital site. It also follows the downgrading of the rating for maternity services at the Trust’s hospitals from ‘good’ to ‘requires improvement’.
The meeting will be taking place online and begins at 6.30pm. Head here to register for access.
