Appeal for victim of Friday night assault to contact police

An altercation happened in Banbury Market Place
Two females became involved in an argument in Banbury town centre last Friday night, which resulted in one of them being assaulted.
The incident happened at around 7.50pm close to Coffee #1 in the Market Place.
During the altercation the victim was knocked to the floor.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for the victim and any witnesses to come forward.
The victim is described as a teenager with straight blonde hair, around 5ft 5ins, wearing all white clothes.
Investigating officer, Police Constable Nathan Fisher, said: “We urge anybody who has information, or was involved in the altercation, to get in touch.
“You can contact us by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240478029.
“Alternatively, for anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
