Asda On The Move coming to Banbury
07/09/2021
Deal will bring convenience store to Ermont Way
Banbury is set to get it’s first Asda shopping experience in town. The supermarket has confirmed to Banbury FM they will be opening an Asda on the Move at the Esso petrol station on Ermont Way.
A spokesperson said they currently had no specific timeframe for the outlet to open but they hope it will be up and running before the end of the year.
Asda’s arrival in town comes as part of the retailer’s plans to expand in the convenience market by partnering with the Euro Garages Group.
The new Asda On The Move store could stock up to 2,500 products, including a selection of Asda’s premium ‘Extra Special’ range and a more extensive range of fresh produce and chilled lines than is traditionally found on fuel forecourts.
Asda currently makes home deliveries in Banbury. The chains nearest shops are in Leamington, Rugby and Wheatley.
