Banbury man in court facing multiple charges

Offences included criminal damage, harassment, burglary and assault on a police officer

A thirty-one year old Banbury man appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with a number of offences committed in the town.

Thomas Butler, who’s from of Orchard Way, had been arrested in relation to a criminal damage incident on Hilton Road on June 28, cases of harassment throughout April and a racially aggravated public order incident on Orchard Way on April 7.  

He was also linked to a burglary in Ruscote Avenue on February 17 and an assault on a police officer on Mascord Road on July 2.

In total Butler was charged with five offences.
