Banbury teenage boy has facial injuries from racially aggravated assault

The attack happened close to Ruscote Park on Monday
A teenage boy suffered injuries to his face during a racially aggravated assault in Banbury on Monday afternoon.
The attack happened at around 4.35pm behind the wall leading to Ruscote Park from Ruscote Arcade. The offenders then fled the scene in a white or grey SUV car.
The victim is receiving hospital treatment for his injuries.
Investigating officer PC Rosie McCabe from Thames Valley Police said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or recognises the description of the offenders to please come forward.
“We will not tolerate racism or violence of this nature, and we are investigating this incident as a priority.”
One of the offenders is described as a white man, aged in his twenties, with a brown beard and brown eyes. The description of the other offender is a male wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a grey tracksuit top.
