Banbury town centre knife amnesty bin installed

“Please help us spread the word and let’s get knives off the streets”
A new knives and blades amnesty bin has been placed in Banbury town centre.
Thames Valley Police have installed the bin next to the taxi rank at the public toilet block by Banbury Cross.
They are hoping anyone who carries a knife will take the opportunity to safely dispose of it in the bin.
There’s also another bin located at Banbury Police Station.
Writing on social media Thames Valley Police said: “Please help us spread the word and let’s get knives off the streets.”
