21/10/2021
A bumper crowd is expected for the game as Andy Whing’s team attempt to make history
Banbury United’s Emirates FA Cup First Round game against Barrow will be shown on ITV4. The match will be broadcast live from Station Approach on Saturday November 6.
To allow for TV scheduling the start time will be slightly later with kick-off at 5.15pm.
Should the Puritans win against the Football League 2 side it will become the club’s best ever performance in the FA Cup.
This is the second year Andy Whing’s team have made it through to the first round. Prior to that the club last made it to the first round in 1973.
A bumper crowd is expected to watch the game with the TV rights bringing in extra money for the club.
Banbury United say more details of match arrangements, including ticketing, will be released soon.
