Banbury’s Community Champion by Royal Appointment
31/05/2022
“I feel so happy that I came to Banbury, met many amazing people”
The man who has done so much to help struggling individuals and families since arriving in Banbury is set to meet the future King of England. Prabhu Natarajan has been invited to a royal reception at Buckingham Palace, hosted by The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.
Prabhu moved to Bretch Hill from India with his wife Shilpa and son Addhu in March 2020. Since then he has worked tirelessly to provide food parcels and support to people in need, as well as establishing his own food bank. He is employed as a carer at Glebefields Care Home in Banbury.
The royal reception will celebrate people from around the commonwealth who are making a difference here in the UK this jubilee year.
On receiving the invitation Prabhu said: “I feel so happy that I came to Banbury, met many amazing people and with their immense trust, love and support, now we are here.
“My little boy is so excited as he recently learned a lot about Prince Charles in school.”
The royal gathering will take place on Thursday June 9.
