The regional finals now await Banbury Cricket Club next weekend
Banbury Cricket Club are the Home Counties Premier Cricket League T20 winners – regaining a title they last held in 2019.
Finals day was held at White Post Road yesterday with Banbury dispatching Wokingham in the first semi-final. The second game saw High Wycombe progress to become Banbury’s competition to win the title.
In the final Banbury went in to bat first and secured 203 for 7 in their 20 overs, with Lloyd Sabin responsible for 77 of those.
During their innings High Wycombe achieved 140 for 9, leaving Banbury the winners by 63 runs.
They now go on to the regional finals next weekend in Northampton.

Banbury CC have another big game of T20 on Tuesday night v Cumnor, winners will win their group and play in Oxon Cup final in September.
