Banbury’s first ever Pride begins this evening

The event is open to everyone with a focus on inclusivity

Banbury Pride begins this evening in Butcher’s Row.   Across three days there will be live music, bands, drag queens, karaoke, quizzes and street entertainment.

This is the first year Pride has taken place in the town and will be based out of the Coach and Horses, Banbury Cross and Apothecary Tap on Butchers Row, with activities and live music on the street.

The organisers are keen to stress the weekend is open to everyone with a focus on inclusivity. Families are welcome and they we’ve tried to make the weekend as accessible as possible.

Plans are already underway for next year’s event which its hoped will see a broader offering of events.
