Brackley Players are back on stage with Four One-Act Plays
29/02/2024
Performances will be over two nights at Brackley Cricket Club
Brackley Players are back on stage this evening (Thursday) with An Evening of Four One-Act Plays.
A different member of the company will take on the role of director for each of the plays, which will be performed at Brackley Cricket Club.
Tony Cottrell’s “A Load of Bull” tells the tale of Daisy and Frieda in a milking parlour.
Bride Before a Fall is a one act farce that sees Victor and his mistress Madelyn plot an ‘accident’ for his dim but very rich wife Lottie, with unexpected consequences for all of them.
After a break the second half features the comedies “Just Stop It” and “Falling Apart” – the story of a divorcing couple who find themselves trapped in a lift at their solicitor’s office.
Performances start at 7.30pm tonight and tomorrow. Tickets cost £10 from the Old Hall Bookshop or the players website.
Brackley Players formed in 1972 from the amalgamation of the Thalian Players and Brackley Amateur Dramatic Society.
