Brackley Town Council shows solidarity with the people of Ukraine

The Town Hall will be lit up yellow and blue nightly
Brackley Town Council have joined others in showing their support for the people of Ukraine by illuminating Brackley Town Hall in the colours of the Ukrainian flag. The building was lit up for the first time last night.
It will be illuminated nightly for the time being.
A spokesperson for Brackley Town Council said: “Our buildings are lit in yellow and blue to show our solidarity and support to Ukraine during this extremely difficult time.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Ukraine.”
Banbury Town Hall is also being lit up with the Ukrainian flag colours nightly. A number of local groups in Banbury, Brackley and the surrounding villages are working to collect donations to be taken to the refugees fleeing from the war created by the Russian invasion.
