Councillor Bernie Tiller has been impressed with what he’s seen so far

Brackley’s town mayor wants to celebrate the joy being brought to the town by the festive decorations on display at people’s homes.

Councillor Bernie Tiller has been impressed with the creativity of the displays adorning houses, so he’s launched Brackley’s 2025 Christmas Lights Competition.

People are being asked to nominate decorated homes which have particularly impressed them, by submitting a road name and photo on Councillor Tiller’s “Brackley Town Mayor” Facebook page.

The deadline for suggestions is December 20 and all entries have to be within the town’s boundary.

An independent panel will tour the nominated houses before Christmas, with the winner receiving the Mayor’s Christmas Lights Award.
