Car flees scene after hitting female runner

The woman required hospital treatment following the incident on August 13
A vehicle fled the scene after colliding with a female runner in Middleton Cheney early on Saturday August 13. The incident happened between 4.50am and 6.25am.
The woman was taken to hospital but her injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
She was on the Thenford Road in the village when she was struck by a silver Vauxhall Zafira which its believed had travelled from Brackley in the direction of Middleton Cheney. After the collision the vehicle left the scene.
Two men, aged 36 and 20, were subsequently arrested in connection with the incident. They have since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Northamptonshire Police are appealing for people with information and any witnesses to contact them on 101.
