Local police have suggested a number of ways people can protect themselves against similar thefts

A car’s catalytic converter has been stolen whilst it was parked up in Brackley.   The theft took place during the early hours of Tuesday morning (December 20).

The vehicle was parked in the old swimming pool car park on Manor Road at the time.   Northamptonshire Police want to hear from anyone who may have information regarding the incident, which happened between 1.20am and 1.30am.

Brackley Neighbourhood Policing Team have suggested a number of ways people can protect themselves against similar thefts.   They suggest vehicles are park in a garage or driveway, or on a busy, well-lit road.  If using a car park use a ParkMark accredited public car park wherever possible.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is asked to call 101 quoting reference number 22000741488.   A report can also be made anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
