Female concealed stolen items in her dress
Cigarettes worth £1,000 were stolen during a distraction burglary at a Banbury convenience store on a Friday evening earlier this month.
Two elderly Asian females entered Best One on Bridge Street at 8.30pm on March 10. They distracted the shop keeper whilst one let herself into the stockroom. Here she concealed a large amount of cigarettes in her dress.
They then exited the shop and left the scene in a Silver Volkswagen Passat.
PC Dawson from Banbury Police station is investigating the crime and appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
