The company is aiming to raise £75,000

Banbury company Cleenol has launched a special fundraising campaign as it marks a special anniversary.  The family run cleaning and hygiene solutions company was founded in 1948 and celebrates its 75th year in business this year.

The money raised during a year of celebrations will benefit the Katharine House Hospice, Oxfordshire Mind and Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

Cleenol has set a challenge to itself, together with its customers and suppliers, to raise £75,000 through the participation of at least 75 people at 75 events.

Events, large and small, will run across 12 months with a growing list of currently planned initiatives including completing the Three Peaks Challenge, a weight-loss programme and 24 gaming endurance challenges.

Cleenol has been involved with Katharine House since the hospice’s inception and over 30 years has provided cleaning supplies and sponsorship.   Earlier this year the company sponsored the development of the online EPiC Resource Centre, which provides a broad spread of support services to people facing the challenges around end-of-life and palliative care.

Oxfordshire Mind is dedicated to making sure that anyone experiencing a mental health issue gets both support and respect. They have been campaigning for better mental health in Oxfordshire for over 50 years.

Thames Valley Air Ambulance provides emergency support 365 days a year and is funded entirely by charitable donations.   In 2022 they attended over 3,000 incidents.
