01/03/2022
Four people were arrested on Monday afternoon
A closure order has been placed on an address at Jubilee Court in Banbury following the arrest of four people yesterday. What is suspected to be crack cocaine was seized at the property.
Three of the individuals were arrested on suspicion of drugs supply. The fourth arrest was a person who was wanted on warrant for failing to appear at court.
As well as the Class A drugs, cash and other drug paraphernalia was also found.
A Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant was executed by Banbury Neighbourhood Policing Team following a number of reports of suspected drug dealing linked to the address.
Writing on social media officers said: “Due to the anti-social behaviour that is linked to such criminality a Closure Notice has been placed on the property which makes it a criminal offence for anybody not listed to enter the address.
“This will be closely monitored by the Neighbourhood Team and we will arrest anybody found within the address that shouldn’t be.”
Police investigation continues.
