Community forum for Banbury Cross and Neithrop ward
26/09/2024
The forum will be held at the Ruscote Community Centre on Thursday evening at 6pm
People living or working in the Banbury Cross and Neithrop ward are invited to the latest Community Forum for the area, which is happening this evening.
The session, which will be held at the Ruscote Community Centre, gives an opportunity to hear updates and raise any concerns on local issues.
Local councillors Dr Chukwudi Okeke, Becky Clarke MBE and Matt Hodgson are amongst those who will be present, along with Thames Valley police representatives.
At previous meetings issues discussed have included antisocial behaviour around a Sanctuary Housing garage block and plans to redirect traffic away from the town centre, along with the danger for pedestrians at the Bridge Street junction and having Heathrow Airport coaches stopping at Banbury.
Progress on these issues has led to Sanctuary removing burnt out garages, Heathrow airport coaches now calling in Banbury, and a plan to address safety at the Bridge Street junction.
The forum starts at 6.
