Competition to design MP’s Christmas card gets underway
04/10/2022
The winning child will get to enjoy tea at Westminster
Its 82 days to Christmas and some people are already preparing.
Amongst them is Banbury’s MP Victoria Prentis who has launched her annual Christmas card competition to find the design that will adorn all the festive greetings she sends this year.
Children from the area are invited to get creative within this year’s theme of “angels”. As well as having their design used on the front of Mrs Prentis’ card, the winner will be invited to have tea with her at Westminster.
The competition is open to all primary school aged children in North Oxfordshire.
Mrs Prentis said: “I know it may seem a little early, but I have just launched my annual Christmas card competition ahead of the October half-term to give children plenty of time to design their entries.”
Entries should be sent to Mrs Prentis’ constituency office at Orchard House, Hopcraft Lane, Deddington, OX15 0TD by Monday 31 October.
Mrs Prentis added: “I can’t wait to see the designs!”
