Councillors ready to hear what you have to say
02/06/2023
The open house session runs from 10am until midday on Saturday
Banbury people who have ideas, issues or questions relating to the work Banbury Town Council undertakes will be able to meet town councillors and chat through those points face to face tomorrow (Saturday).
The open house sessions are monthly opportunities for voters to speak to councillors, ask questions, discuss problems and express opinions on how the town is run.
Councillors Simon Garrett and Jayne Strangwood will be on hand to help people with their enquiries – about issues that are the town council’s responsibility.
The town hall will be open from 10am to midday and there is no need to make an appointment – it’s just turn up on the day.
Banbury Town Council owns and manages parks, play areas, open spaces, cemeteries, sports grounds, allotments, bus shelters, civic events, annual events, dog litter bins, and the town hall. It also deals with crime prevention initiatives.
Drop-in sessions take place every first Saturday of the month except in January and August and councillors meet the public on a rota basis.
