Cub Scouts’ roses stolen from a Brackley park

Five bushes were taken shortly after they had been planted

Five rose bushes which had been planted by Cub Scouts in a Brackley park have been stolen.

Members of the 5th Brackley Group had been working with Brackley Town Council on the project to plant and tend the roses in a flower bed in Tudor Way Park.

Having spent an evening planting out the rose bushes the excited youngsters returned to tend and weed the flower bed, only to be upset on discovering the roses had been taken.

Northants Police say the roses were stolen sometime between 10am on July 8 and 6.30pm on July 10.   They are asking for anyone with information to contact then on 101, quoting incident number 24000410035.
