Damage caused during failed break-in at Fenny Compton business

The offenders left when they couldn’t gain entry

Thieves failed to break-in to a business on the High Street in Fenny Compton during the early hours of yesterday morning (January 14), leaving empty handed but having caused damage to the property.

They attempted to gain entry at around 3.50am.   Having tried the front and side doors they smashed a window to try and reach round to unlock the front door.   After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to gain entry they gave up and left.

Warwickshire Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, who has information, or who has CCTV footage of either the offence or suspicious activity in the area around the time of the offence.

Crime reference number 23/1850/25 has been allocated to the case.
