Brackley’s Teddy Bear Festival raises money for the mayor’s charities
Daredevil teddy bears spent the morning parachuting from the skies above Town Park in Brackley at the annual Teddy Bear Festival.
Brackley Town Mayor Councillor Elaine Wiltshire took charge of the jumps from a cherry picker, which was raised to the level of the tree tops.
Teddy’s donned parachutes for their journey down to ground level, where their young owners were waiting.
Despite a damp start the weather improved for a lunchtime picnic and other activities, including teddy bear rhymes and stories.
