Dispersal order introduced after night of youth violence and anti-social behaviour
26/09/2023
The town centre and surrounding parks are covered by the order
A dispersal order has been introduced in Banbury after a night of youth related violence and anti-social behaviour.
Thames Valley Police applied for the Section 35 dispersal order. This gives them the ability to remove anyone they feel is intent on disrupting other people’s enjoyment of the town.
The order covers the town centre and surrounding parks.
Anyone who ignores a request to leave the designated area can be arrested.
