Distraction techniques used during drugs bust
25/08/2021
Occupants of property on Bloxham Vale arrested on suspicion of drugs supply
Distraction techniques were used by police officers as they gained entry to a property to make three drugs related arrests. The drugs bust took place yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) at a property in the new Bloxham Vale estate off the Bloxham Road in Banbury.
Whilst the occupants of the house were preoccupied with what was happening at the front of the property, members of the Tasking Team made a dynamic entry at the rear. A dynamic entry is a tactic using surprise, speed and domination.
Two men and one woman were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Suspected Class A Drugs were recovered during the raid.
