The crashed vehicle was spotted by a passing ambulance crew
A man has been arrested after emergency services spotted a crashed car on the A4260 at Adderbury in the early hours of Sunday morning (January 9). The 34-year-old was taken into custody on suspicion of drink and drug driving offences.
An ambulance crew initially spotted the crashed vehicle just south of the village, on the Oxford Road a little before the national speed limit zone.
Officers from Thames Valley Police and fire crews from both Banbury and Deddington fire station also attended the scene.
Neither the driver or passenger were badly injured.
The driver remains in police custody.
