E-scooter rider said he will “smash up the police station” as he was arrested

The man was spotted on Sunday afternoon
A man tried to attack police officers and threatened to “smash up the Police station” after he was caught riding an e-scooter in Banbury.
The 20-year-old was spotted on Warwick Road on Sunday afternoon. He tried to evade officers but when they caught him he made the threats, whilst attempting to hit out at them.
The man was arrested and taken into custody. Police say he then became more apologetic.
He has been reported for driving without insurance.
