15/08/2023
More than 80 stalls will be filled with flavours from around the world
Banbury’s Town Mayor says this Sunday’s Food and Drink Festival will be a chance to “eat, drink and be merry” as the Market Place is filled with more than 80 stalls offering delicacies and flavours from around the world.
The annual event will feature tasty treats from many cultures with opportunities to eat and drink al fresco on the seating provided, or to take purchases home to enjoy later.
Celebrity chef Paul Da Costa Greaves is back for a second year giving a number of cooking demonstrations through the day.
The free-to-attend event is organised by Banbury Town Council.
Town mayor Fiaz Ahmed said: “It will be eat, drink and be merry as thousands of people discover food with a difference and a variety of liquid refreshments.
“There will be nearly a hundred stalls stacked high with delicacies – made by local producers but with tastes from many countries and cultures.”
The Food and Drink Festival runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
