Police want to hear from anyone who can help with their enquiries after battery and power tools were stolen
A local electrician has been left without some of the tools to do his job after thieves broke into his van in Adderbury on Tuesday evening (February 1). It’s the second time he’s been struck in 18 months.
Battery and power tools were taken during the robbery, which took place in Kemp’s Road.
Thames Valley Police responded to reports of the theft at around 10.20pm.
The electrician told Banbury FM: “It was very upsetting as its the second time in 18 months its happened.
“I have loads of support from friends and other electrical and building companies offering to lend me tools, so [there’s] definitely lots of nice people still about.”
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “Officers attended the scene and their investigations are ongoing.
“If anyone has any information about this incident please call 101 or make a report online using the reference number 43220048327.”
