The male had been giving officers the slip but was finally stopped in Brackley

Police have caught up with a disqualified driver who’s been back behind the wheel. The male had been evading officers for a while, but was finally caught yesterday on the approaches to Brackley driving a Skoda Octavia..

Three teams from both Thames Valley and Northants Police had been working together to catch the driver, who had been giving them the slip.

Two officers happened to stumble across the driver in Brackley. He was arrested for driving whilst disqualified, for driving without insurance, and for suspected drug driving.
