A new reception and additional clinic rooms will be created

Work to upgrade areas at the Fiennes Centre on the Horton Hospital site in Banbury is about to get underway.

Over the next six months a new reception will be created at the side of the building, along with a larger waiting room.

Five clinic rooms will be refurbished and four new ones created.

The work will be completed in phases over the coming months with some teams temporarily relocating to different parts of the building whilst work on their areas takes place.

Patients will be able to follow signage to find where they need to go through the refurbishment period, with staff on hand to help.

In a statement Oxford Health NHS Trust said: “Whilst refurbishing a live site is never simple, it is important that we continue to invest in local services – and we know the final upgrade will be worth the effort.”

The Fiennes Centre houses a number of health services, including an Urgent Care Centre, Older Adult Mental Health services, a Single Point of Access for community health referrals, and Podiatry.
