30/01/2025

A meeting is taking place in King’s Sutton this evening
Its hoped villagers in King’s Sutton who’ve been affected by flooding in their property will attend a meeting this evening with the aim of forming a Flood Action Group.
Householders who are worried that they might be affected in the future are also invited to attend.
King’s Sutton Parish Council is facilitating the meeting in the Millennium Memorial Hall.
Councillor Rebecca Breese will be attending – she is West Northamptonshire’s Unitary Councillor responsible for flooding.
During recent storms the Environment Agency has issued a number of warnings that flooding was likely in low-lying parts of King’s Sutton, with properties on Wales Street most at risk.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm.
