GCSE Results: BGN
24/08/2023
The results are some of the best the school has seen
Staff at Blessed George Napier Catholic School say they are delighted for all their students as they collected their GCSE results today. Half of the students achieved a grade 7 or higher in one of their exams.
Today’s results are some of the best the school has seen, which the headteacher puts down to the hard work, resilience and dedication of both students and staff at BGN.
86 per cent of them gained at least a grade 4 and above in English and 77 per cent a grade 4 or above in Maths.
Half of BGN’s GCSE students gained Grade 5 or above in both English and Maths.
Headteacher, Niamh Dolan, said: “It is always a joy to share in the happiness of students collecting their results today. Their success is well deserved and this generation of students should be so proud of what they have achieved, given all the disruption they have had over the past few years.
“Today’s results show they have risen to the challenge and I am sure they will go on to do great things in the future”.
