24/08/2023
Superb results are praised with thanks to those who helped students
At the Warriner School in Bloxham teaching staff have congratulated the 245 students who received their GCSE results today.
77 percent of students achieved a standard pass in English and 72 per cent a standard pass in maths. The combined figure for a standard pass in both maths and English was 66 per cent.
Just over six in ten students achieved 5 or more standard passes.
Executive Headteacher, Dr Annabel Kay, and Head of School, Sharon Nicholls, said: “We would like to congratulate all our students on a superb set of grades with some amazing individual performances. To have achieved this incredible set of results after having so much disruption is a credit to the resilience, dedication and hard work of our students.
“We are so proud of students, staff and parents because this has been a team effort all round.”
The school says that anyone who would like to apply to join their sixth form should contact m.fisher@warriner.oxon.sch.uk.
