Students achieve grades to secure A level and apprenticeship places
On the day year 11s collect their GCSE results the Head of School at Warriner School in Bloxham has said they are immensely proud of all the work and achievements of their students.
The school has recognised some outstanding achievements with students reaching the required levels to enable their future plans. One young person achieving the results they required to secure a sixth form place whilst another received the necessary grades to ensure they could begin their apprenticeship in business with a local company.
Sharon Nicholls, Head of School, said: “We are immensely proud of all the work and achievements of all our students in Year 11 and Year 13, especially after such a difficult and disrupted year.
“Our teachers have worked tirelessly to ensure students are all able to progress onto further education and study, and we look forward to seeing what they will achieve in the future.”
This year, following the cancellation of exams, grades were awarded through a process of teacher assessed grades, against a national standard and approved and awarded by the exam boards.
