Great day for families this Sunday at Edgcote Races and Family Fun Day

A seven race card, kids activities and live music all feature
There’s a big family day out lined up this Sunday at Edgcote Races and Family Fun Day.
Gates to the course open at 11am with a seven race card starting at 2 o’clock.
Organised by the Bicester with Whaddon Chase, there’s a total entry of 72, featuring 66 individual horses. The Edgcote Gold Cup Mixed Open Race over a distance of three miles is the centrepiece of the day with a field of 7.
Alongside the racing families can enjoy with a fun dog show, bouncy castle and children’s activities, a rodeo bull and live music from country artist Adam Harding.
Edgcote is about six miles northeast of Banbury. To find the course follow the A361 to Wardington, turn right at the Hare & Hounds pub and follow the road round to the right. Cross the pond, then turn right at the electric gates for Lodge Farm and Trafford Bridge stables. Entry is £15 per person and the under 14’s go free.
