Image released of man police want to speak to in harassment case

A man approached the victims car on the Overthorpe Road several times over a number of days
Police are investigating a case of harassment in Banbury with a man approaching a car on a number of occasions, culminating with a note of a sexual nature being left on the victim’s car windscreen.
Between Tuesday June 10 and Friday June 13 a man approached the victim’s vehicle several times.
On the first occasion he attempted to gain access to the vehicle, but was scared off by a witness.
During the second occasion he gained access to the vehicle and got inside, but didn’t take anything.
On the third occasion he left a note on the windscreen with a message of a sexual nature. The incident occurred on Overthorpe Road at around 2.30pm each day.
Thames Valley Police has released the image of a man they believe may have vital information that will help with their enquiries.
Investigating officer, PC Charlie Harrison, said: “If you recognise him, or if this is you, we would ask that you contact Thames Valley Police via 101 or make a report online, via our website, quoting reference 43250297048.
