Items thrown from bridge at passing cars on busy main road

Damage was caused to at least one vehicle

Police are investigating after individuals were seen throwing items onto the busy A43 at Brackley from a bridge over the road.    The incident happened on Monday afternoon (January 6) at around 3pm.

Those involved were stood on the Turweston Road which passes over the dual carriageway on the eastern side of the town.

One vehicle is known to have been struck, with damage caused.

Officers from Brackley’s Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to hear from any witnesses and those with dashcam footage.  They can be contacted on 101 (quoting reference 25000011943), online, or anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
