Local schools Colourful Xmas trees go on display at Banbury Library
22/12/2021
The display includes over 520 baubles
A number of colourful Christmas trees created by local schools have gone on display at Banbury Library.
Youngsters from Hanwell Fields, Harriers, Wroxton, St. Leonards and Dashwood primary schools took up the challenge to create baubles for the trees. These would be seen by visitors to the library in Marlborough Road.
Over 520 baubles are currently taking pride of place on the trees in the display.
Children visiting the library could also join in with the project, with staff setting up a craft table where young people could colour their own bauble. These have been placed on a tree along with the staff baubles.
The trees will be on display until January 8.
The library has involved local schools with Christmas displays in the past. In December 2019 children were asked to draw a Christmas tree and the pictures were displayed around the building.
