Three people were assaulted at AKA in Parson’s Street
Three people have been assaulted at a Banbury bar. The attack happened at approximately 12.05am on Sunday August 18 inside and outside AKA in Parsons Street.
All three of the victims are in their twenties. One required medical treatment after sustaining a fractured cheekbone, chipped teeth and cuts to the side of his lips.
Another victim received scratches and cuts to his head and bruised ribs. The third man wasn’t injured.
Two men, aged 23 and 25, both from Banbury, were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm and have been released on conditional police bail until November 7 while investigations continue.
Police released an image of a third man who they wanted to speak to and following that an 18-year-old man from Banbury was also arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been released on police bail until November 28.
Investigating officer PC Vince Clenshaw, based at Banbury police station, said: “This incident occurred inside and outside a busy bar at around midnight on Sunday 18 August and appeared to follow an earlier argument inside the club.”
