Police are trying to identify two suspects following assault in Grimsbury
A man was spat at and punched in the side of his head during a Saturday afternoon assault in Banbury. The attack happened in Alma Road in Grimbsury between 2.30 and 3.00pm.
During the assault a bottle was also thrown at a car.
The attack was conducted by two males, both of whom were caught on CCTV, but officers from Thames Valley Police currently aren’t able to identify them. They say the footage shows several people walking in the area and the males can be heard shouting.
Writing on social media Thames Valley Police asked: “Were you in the area of Alma Road between these times? Did you see or hear anything? Do you have any CCTV? Do you know who these males may be?”
One of the suspects is described as an Asian male, roughly 6ft tall and of a large build, with short hair and a trimmed beard. He was wearing a black coat, dark blue/black tracksuit and black trainers. This suspect was holding a small bottle of beer.
The second male suspect is described as of a slim build, roughly 5ft 10 tall. He was wearing a black coat with its hood up, black tracksuit and black trainers.
