The incident happened in the Tesco car park on Tuesday evening
A man was stabbed during a robbery outside a Brackley supermarket on Tuesday evening. Northamptonshire Police were called to the Oxford Road car park of the Tesco Superstore on the southern side of town at 7.40pm.
The man, who is in his 20s, had his phone stolen. During the theft his arm was cut with a flick knife. He was taken to hospital but didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “The suspect is described as a black man, aged 20-30, wearing blue shorts and a grey hoodie. He had a Cockney accent and fled the scene in a white Audi Q3.
“Witnesses, anyone with information, or anyone with dash cam footage of the area at the time of the offence, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 23000188139.”
During the incident police taped off the scene with witnesses reporting the ambulance arriving on the scene very quickly.
