Man sustains laceration to his arm in Hilton Road incident

Police were called at just before 6.40pm

A Banbury street was cordoned off by police on Monday evening following what officers described as an “altercation” which resulted in one man sustaining a laceration to his arm.

He was taken to hospital with a non life-threatening injury.

The incident happened on Hilton Road with the police called at just before 6.40pm.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is under way.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “We would ask anybody who witnessed the incident or who may have dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell footage, to contact Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting incident reference 1851 (31/3).”

Hilton Road runs from the Woodgreen Avenue roundabout to Wimborne Avenue.
