Customers were asked to make a festive donation

Staff and customers at Morrisons supermarket in Banbury demonstrated their festive generosity by raising £983 for the Salvation Army over the Christmas period.

Customers were asked if they would donate a small sum towards the supermarket’s Christmas Giving fund raiser.    Members of the Salvation Army were also in store for a couple of days with a bucket collection, which raised around £325.

Mandy Merry is Morrison’s Community Champion.   She presented a cheque to representatives from the Salvation Army at the conclusion of the fund raiser.
