Names released for Cherwell local election candidates

Both Reform UK and the Greens are standing candidates everywhere this time
The names of the people who are hoping to secure our votes at the Local Elections on May 7 have been released.
The move away from traditional party politics is evident with both Reform UK and the Greens putting forward candidates for every seat.
The Conservatives and Liberal Democrats have also nominated candidates in all wards, but Labour have chosen not to stand in three areas.
One third of the councillors at the authority across sixteen wards are up for re-election this year. In two wards two seats are available due to a mid-term resignation, meaning 18 councillors are set to be selected in four weeks time.
