Nevfest will be a celebration of life and the power of community

Restoring Neville the mini helped Victoria Gordon and Mark Gilmore after the loss of their parents
A charity music festival organised by two mini enthusiasts will take place in Bloxham this weekend.
The festival has been named Nevfest after Victoria Gordon and Mark Gilmore’s classic Mini Neville – a vehicle which has been restored from a rusty shell to what its owners says is a beacon of joy. The festival, much like Neville, aims to bring a little more sparkle into people’s lives.
Victoria and Mark say Nevfest is not just a festival, but rather a celebration of life and the power of community. In 2016, they suffered the loss of their parents to cancer and Parkinson’s disease. Their move to Bloxham and the refurbishment of Neville marked a new chapter, helping them heal and form new connections. Nevfest is their way of giving back, both to the charities that supported them during their times of loss and to the community that welcomed them with open arms.
The festival promises a day of live music, DJs, street food and ice cream, complemented by a variety of local stallholders. It’s a celebration of all things local and aims to raise funds for Cancer Research and Parkinson’s UK.
Nevfest runs from 11am to 11pm at the Elephant & Castle on Saturday.
