Nominate an outstanding Hospitals Trust team member
24/12/2021
The Patients’ Choice Award celebrates the inspiring and innovative work that staff do
After another challenging year for those working at The Horton General and our other local hospitals we’re being asked if we know of a member of the hospital staff that has gone the extra mile to provide outstanding care.
There’s just a week left to make a nomination for the Patients’ Choice Award 2021.
The award was established in 2016. It aims to celebrate the inspiring and innovative work that staff do every day across the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to improve the lives of patients and service users.
By nominating a staff member, patients, their families and carers can say a special ‘thank you’ to the person they feel has made a real difference and is deserving of recognition.
Nominations can be teams or individual members of staff who work across the Trust’s four main hospitals – the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury – and other services which their staff provide from other community settings.
The closing date for nominations, which can be made here, is New Year’s Eve (December 31).

The fantastic Novovax team. Who worked extremely hard during the trials for this vaccine. Especially Bernadette who was always smiling and happy, she was caring and professional the whole time. They should all get the recognition they deserve for the sacrafices they made to get this vaccine approved.
