The Trust is investing in improving the working lives of staff

Staff at the Horton General Hospital can now take advantage of outdoor gym equipment which has been installed to support their basic health and wellbeing needs.    Its part of a £0.5m investment by Oxford University Hospitals Trust (OUH) in new wellbeing equipment to improve the working lives of their team.

Capital funding for the project was approved in January.   The equipment is one action to come from the Trust’s People Plan 2022-25.

Outdoor gym equipment will be installed at the John Radcliffe and Churchill Hospitals soon.   Earlier this year Energy pods, sleep tubes and wellbeing nooks – two person seating areas for private conversations – were installed at OUH sites.
